Roger has been teaching and learning about the Bible for over 30 years, and has a fervent desire to see believers become stronger in their faith as they are well grounded in God’s Word.  Roger currently serves on the Deacon Team here at Timberline Church.

This class will involve:
• Prayer for the needs of those in attendance. 
• Every class will have a time for disciplined Bible study of a particular topic which we will endeavor to more deeply understand the principles of truths taught. 
• You will have many opportunities to ask questions and discuss ideas. 
• From time to time we will have guests who will share with us about real life experiences that relate to Biblical truth.  One of those guests will be a gentleman whom God healed when he was dying of heart disease at age 20.  He spent the next 60 years in full time ministry with his wife.  He has many examples of the goodness and greatness of God that you will not want to miss. 
• There will be other leaders and Pastors who will help us discuss various topics.

Areas of Bible Study: 
• What does salvation mean and how do we really know that we are right with God? 
• Who is God and how does He reveal himself? 
• How can I get answers to prayer? 
• How and when should I give back to God? 
• What does God want me to do with my life?
• Who is the Holy Spirit and how does He work in my daily life? 
• Is healing for me today? 
• What is the “Rapture of the Church��?, and when will it happen? 
• What or who is the Trinity? 
• What does the future hold for us as believers in Jesus Christ? 
• What ministry gifts does God have for me? 
• Where do I fit into the body of Christ? 
• What does it mean to maintain unity in the Church?

In the “Basic Beliefs��? class you will meet other people who are at the similar places in their journeys as you develop new friendships with each week passes.  Challenge yourself and take another step of obedience that will enrich you and those around you.  The only way you will find out what good things God has for you is for you to step out and let Him lead you.  Come and be a part of what God is doing at Timberline Church.  Jump in with both feet, have fun and learn with us.
