We are two very senior folks, and while all of these topics sound like they would be very interesting to us, we fear they may be based on an intellectual viewpoint that would be far over our heads.
We thought, from the poster, that these lectures might focus on the scriptural apllication to the culture that we live in today. We were hoping for very basic information on how to live our Christian lives in a way that would influence our society and bring glory to the Lord’s name. Do you think that this seminar would be helpful to us in that regard? Thanks for the information.

Let me encourage you not to stay away from the Pete Bocchino Apologetics/Evangelism training seminar for fear that some things may be “over your heads.” Remember, anything we learn is something that was previously beyond or above us. I think anyone who attends this will be stretched–and that’s a good thing.
But I do think I understand some of your apprehensions, fearing that this may be little more than a series of academic lectures. However, Pete spends a good amount of time talking about the dangers involved in doing apologetics–namely, the risk of becoming “puffed up,” as the Bible warns. Pete hammers away at the importance of being in relationship with people as the essential context for delivering the truth of the message of Jesus. I think you’ll find that Pete does a wonderful job explaining and amplifying his more “academic” points with real-life, on-the-street examples from his own personal interaction.
At least come Friday evening and check it out. It’ll cost you nothing!
